I first discovered asmr and the effect it had on me when i was a young boy. My family wasn’t very wealthy when i was growing up, and my mom was widowed when i was about 7, so she used to take me with her to work when she went to one of her jobs which was cleaning apartment buildings. I remember she would clean the steps with a sponge and a bucket of water and she would start from the top of the steps and work her way down. I would lay at the top of the steps with my head in my hands watching her as a child and i remember how insanely relaxed i felt listening to the sponge dip into the bucket of water. The sounds at around 35:00 is the closest I’ve felt to that first time experiencing asmr relaxation since i was a child.
You’re the best PPOMO. :)

I'm currently doing my last ever assignment for the school I'm in (graduate in 1 month) it's about the Arctic and North pole in geology terms and it's so difficult. For the longest time, I kept switching to different ASMR subs, but they either did nothing for me or made want to fall asleep which is not ideal for school work. But this combination of water sounds and writing about ice and stuff is perfect because I can almost imagine it to be the Arctic ice sounds. As a bonus, I don't get distracted and I don't fall asleep to this. PPOMO has saved me in this subject SOOO many times, and this time too. It's the perfect combination of stimulating and calming.
